“You can not think well, love well, sleep well if you have not eaten well”. This is our motto and, faithful to what has become for us a philosophy of life, we want to transmit it to our guests, transforming it into traditional, unique and genuine dishes. The “Al Caminetto” Umbria Restaurant, located inside our hotel, is located a few steps from the historic center of Orvieto and is close to both the new Porta d’Orvieto shopping center and the parking lot for tourist coaches and the railway station. It can also be easily reached from the A1 Florence-Rome motorway exit (in the direction of the city center) from which it is 1 km away and from the funicular lift that takes you to the Orvieto Rupe in a few minutes.
Our kitchen, which has always been appreciated by both local customers and tourists who choose Orvieto for their holiday in Umbria, is an expression of flavors and aromas typical of the Umbrian land. We carefully choose the best raw materials such as extra virgin olive oil, truffles, meats, cheeses and cold cuts. All accompanied by a good glass of wine from Orvieto. The location of the restaurant “Al Caminetto”, with its two air-conditioned rooms for a total of 150 seats, also offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy a suggestive view of the Rupe di Orvieto.
And, in the winter months, you can appreciate the taste of a good typical Umbrian dish pampered by the warmth of the fireplace that embellishes the place. We are able to organize lunches and dinners for tourist groups, birthday parties, bachelor parties with or without animation, providing our experience in the search for the best quality.
