Orvieto
Laying on a tufaceous plateau, Orvieto appears like a beautiful island on a extinct sea; the origin goes up to IX century B.C., when the Etruscan use to live in caves under the town. Very famous around the world the thirteen century Duomo of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo, one of the best expression in the Italian art, which façade was created by Lorenzo Maitani, and a gigantic triptych impregnate of sculptures and mosaics of exceptional beauty. As well as the imposing buildings surrounding the Duomo, the most famous symbol of Orvieto is the well of Patrizio, unique masterpiece of hydraulic engineering created by Antonio Sangallo il Giovane, wanted by Pope Clemente VII in 1527, in order to supply water to the town in case of war. The enormous well is 62 m depth and has two helicoidal staircases, one to go down and one to go up. The Orvieto underground is a labyrinth of tunnels, cisterns, wells and caverns that preserve signs of antique civilizations. Guided tour allow to travel in the past and appreciate this realities underground. |

Corbara
Corbara is a village, part of the Orvieto (TR) council situated near the homonymous dam on the Tiber river, at 186 above sea level. According the Istat census in 2001, the village has 123 inhabitants. It is possible to reach Corbara through the road Colonnetta di Prodo-diga di Corbara along which is situated another hamlet still part of Orvieto, Fossatello. Corbara is also located near the National road 448 Todi-Baschi. In 1962 was built the dam on the Tiber river, creating an imposing 207 million m³ hydroelectric basin. The dam is long 641 m of which 416 in cement and 225 in soil. |

Bolsena
Bolsena is a municipality in the province of Viterbo with 4,240 inhabitants. The distance from Viterbo is about 30 km. On the evening of the 23rd of July the Holy representation of the Mysteries of Santa Cristina is performed: some living portraits, called Mysteries, are staged to remember the sufferance of the young girl canonised. The religious procession with the statue of Santa Cristina, stops in front of each representation along the road that goes from the Basilica to the Church of the Santissimo Salvatore. In Bolsena are kept the holy stones, of which one is always shown for the veneration of the pilgrims. |

Terni
Terni is a town of 111,478[1] inhabitants, the main town of the homonymous province of Terni, the 41st Italian municipality for number of inhabitants. A town with high rate of industrial development since the XIX century; the bombing suffered during the Second World War didn’t not prevent it remaining one of the economic centres of the Umbria region. Terni is also well known as the "Città degli Innamorati" (town of lovers), because of Saint Valentine who was the archbishop of this town. |

La Cascate delle Marmore
A few kilometres from Amelia are the Marmore waterfalls, the highest in Europe , man-made in 271 B.C. by the consul Manlio Curio Dentato, in order to reclaim the “piana reatina” (valley), which represent one of the most thrilling natural spectacles, where the water falls from a total height of 160 m divided into three falls. The sports practiced in this area are mostly rafting, canoeing, hydro-speed, and kayaking.

Civita di Bagnoregio
History, arts, culture and traditions are fundamental requirements for a territory which seems to stand still in a past rich in events. Civita di Bagnoregio is an example of unique beauty.
